Set the Standard. Train the Team. Take Pride in the Results.

You know what a quality HVAC installation looks like—and you know how to help others get it right.

ARS–Rescue Rooter is seeking a Residential HVAC Installation Supervisor / Trainer to strengthen installation quality, coach our crews, and help build a team that takes pride in its workmanship. We’re placing a clear focus on getting installations right, developing our people, and earning our customers’ confidence.

In this hands-on field leadership role, you’ll work alongside installers, demonstrate proper techniques, inspect workmanship, and help solve technical challenges. Your experience will help develop stronger installers, reduce callbacks, and deliver systems our customers can depend on.

Your focus on quality comes with additional earning potential. In addition to your base salary, our bonus program pays $50 per qualifying installation quality assurance inspection. With approximately 80 installations per month at current branch volume, that represents potential bonus earnings of up to $4,000 monthly. Actual earnings depend on installation volume and qualifying inspections under the bonus plan.

Whether you’re a lead installer ready to move into leadership or an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys teaching others, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact through the people you develop and the standards you reinforce.

What We Offer

  • $65,000–$75,000 annual base salary.
  • $50 per qualifying installation QA inspection, with monthly bonus potential up to $4,000 based on current installation volume and bonus plan requirements.
  • Take-home company truck with fuel card and maintenance.
  • Medical insurance available after 31 days, with plans starting as low as $5 per week.
  • Dental and vision insurance options.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Company-paid life insurance.
  • Ongoing leadership development and HVAC career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide hands-on field training and technical coaching to residential HVAC installation crews.
  • Demonstrate proper installation techniques and explain how quality workmanship affects system performance and reliability.
  • Visit active job sites to inspect workmanship, troubleshoot challenges, and guide crews through correcting installation deficiencies.
  • Train installers on airflow, ductwork, refrigerant piping, gas piping, electrical connections, system setup, and startup procedures.
  • Conduct installation quality inspections and reinforce company standards, applicable codes, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Identify individual skill gaps and develop practical coaching plans to help installers improve.
  • Support complicated installations and teach crews how to prevent recurring problems.
  • Reinforce safe work practices and professional customer communication.
  • Hold team members accountable through clear expectations, constructive feedback, and follow-up.
  • Partner with branch leadership to review callbacks, inspection findings, and crew performance to identify training priorities.
  • Help build a stronger installation team that consistently delivers quality work and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant hands-on residential HVAC installation experience, or residential service experience with a strong understanding of complete system installations.
  • The ability to identify installation problems, explain the solution, and demonstrate the correct technique.
  • Strong knowledge of airflow, ductwork, refrigerant piping, gas piping, electrical components, system setup, and startup procedures.
  • Working knowledge of applicable HVAC codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Clear communication skills and the patience to coach team members with different experience levels.
  • Pride in your workmanship and the ability to reinforce consistent quality standards.
  • Previous experience mentoring, training, or leading HVAC installers or technicians preferred.
  • Willingness to spend the majority of the workday visiting job sites and supporting crews in the field.
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • A previous supervisor title isn’t required. If you’re the person other installers turn to for answers, we want to hear from you.
