Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a results-driven Senior Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager for India FSI & Conglomerates to design and execute high-impact ABM programs for Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets) customers and large Indian Conglomerate groups (e.g., Tata Group, Adani, Mahindra). This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive measurable business outcomes through targeted marketing initiatives.

The ABM Manager will act as the primary marketing contact for the FSI segment and Conglomerates cohort, owning end-to-end execution of 1:1 and 1:Few ABM programs. Working backwards from customer needs, you will create data-driven, multi-channel campaigns, events, and executive programs that accelerate pipeline and revenue growth. This role requires deep understanding of India's FSI landscape (regulated banks, insurers, capital markets firms), conglomerate buying dynamics, and the ability to build scalable demand generation engines with measurable pipeline contribution.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ABM 1:1 and 1:Few marketing strategies for priority FSI customers in India (banking, insurance, capital markets) and large Indian Conglomerates, in collaboration with Account Managers and Business Leaders, with the goal of maximizing AWS revenue
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for the FSI & Conglomerates segment, working across partner organizations, Solutions Architects, WWSO, and Sales units along with regional and global marketing stakeholders
  • Drive demand generation activities that enable the FSI & Conglomerates business to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers, and deliver revenue growth from AWS services — across banking institutions, insurance firms, and conglomerate groups like Tata, Adani, Mahindra etc.
  • Implement tracking and evaluation methods for ABM marketing funding impact — including lead management, ROI analysis, and reporting on AWS-driven and 3P-activated marketing activity and engagements
  • Facilitate cross-region collaboration with ABMers in the APJ region and drive marketing enablement initiatives
  • Coordinate with regional and global ABM Marketing teams to scale field/channel marketing efforts through joint engagements across flagship programs like re:Invent, AWS Summits, and India-specific activations
  • Develop and implement scalable campaign playbooks for driving demand gen motion in collaboration with FSI Focussed partners like GSIs, ISVs and SIs.
  • Integrate AWS solutions within partner GTM models while maintaining measurable ROI across Sell-To and Co-Sell motions, within India's highly regulated compliance environment
  • Design executive engagement programs for CXOs at banks, insurance companies, and conglomerate group-level technology leaders — including BFSI summits, innovation showcases, CXO roundtables, and boardroom-level engagements

A day in the life

AWS India Industry Marketing is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from India's leading financial institutions and large multi-business conglomerates (e.g., Tata, Reliance, Adani, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Godrej, JSW, RPG, Vedanta). The ABM team focuses on building and executing tailored, integrated plans for priority 1:1 accounts (top private and public sector banks, insurance majors, capital markets firms, and India's largest business houses) and clusters of accounts via 1:Few programs aligned to industry themes — cloud-native banking, AI/ML for risk, digital insurance, data modernization, and group-level cloud strategy.

The Senior FSI & Conglomerates ABM Manager will partner with India FSI Sales leadership and enabling teams to research key accounts, develop go-to-market plans, and execute events and engagements that drive revenue. You will work across India's dynamic financial services landscape and conglomerate ecosystem — from large PSU banks undergoing digital transformation to fintech disruptors scaling rapidly, and from conglomerate CTO offices driving group-wide cloud adoption to individual business units with distinct technology needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services
  • Experience in building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
  • Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • 10+ years of experience in acquisition marketing or channel marketing programs
  • FSI domain knowledge preferred — understanding of regulatory environment (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI), banking/insurance buying cycles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in B2B marketing tools such as Marketo
  • Experience in technology/cloud/SaaS marketing specifically for financial services or large enterprise/conglomerate accounts
  • Deep understanding of India's FSI ecosystem — banking (private, PSU, SFB), insurance (life, general, health), capital markets, NBFCs, fintechs, and payment platforms
  • Understanding of India conglomerate structures (e.g., Tata, Reliance, Adani, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Godrej) — group-level technology decision-making, BU-level autonomy, and multi-entity procurement dynamics
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with SI partners focused on FSI (e.g., TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, Wipro, Accenture)
  • Experience driving alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Prior experience working with or marketing to Indian banks, insurance companies, or large conglomerate groups
