Business Development Executive (Semi-Government Bank)

Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Graduate Freshers for the role of Business Development Executive on the direct payroll of a semi-government bank in Odisha. This is a high-impact, customer-facing position that combines branch-based service with active field engagement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial inclusion by promoting health insurance products to walk-in customers and conducting on-site visits to generate new business. The role offers a structured career path within a reputable financial institution, with opportunities to grow through performance, product expertise, and customer relationship management. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and assist walk-in customers at the bank branch with professionalism and efficiency
- Communicate, pitch, and educate customers about health insurance products and their benefits
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and local stakeholders
- Identify, approach, and convert new business opportunities through field visits and outreach
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide on-the-spot training to customers
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales and performance targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on business goals and customer needs
- Visit client locations for product information, follow-ups, and deal closure
Note: This is a Branch + Field Sales role requiring regular travel across assigned zones.
Requirements
- Graduate (Technical & Non-Technical streams)
- 3-Year Diploma holders
- B.Voc candidates
- Only 2021 to 2025 pass-outs are eligible.
- Age: 18 to 27 years only
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages
- Willingness to work in a branch + field environment with flexible scheduling
- Must be available for day shift and work as per Bank holidays
Not Eligible:
- LLB / CA / Doctors / B.Ed / Integrated Courses
- Candidates with active PF accounts
- Apprentices with active contracts in other organizations
- Candidates outside the specified graduating year range
