Our client, a well-established player in the HVAC industry, is seeking a Consulting Sales Engineer to drive the promotion and specification of HVAC solutions across consultants, developers, owners, contractors, and dealers. This role combines technical expertise, relationship management, and business development, offering the opportunity to work closely with key decision-makers while growing market share and expanding the company's footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote HVAC products to consultants, developers, owners, dealers, contractors, and end users.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, developers, and key stakeholders.
- Expand the client base and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Prepare quotations, technical specifications, and solution proposals based on client requirements.
- Provide technical and application support, including design assistance and product presentations.
- Conduct seminars and product training sessions for consultants and decision-makers.
- Engage with consultants and key accounts on project specifications and product selection.
- Work closely with internal teams to support sales objectives and customer requirements.
- Contribute to market share growth through specification-driven sales strategies and business development initiatives.
- Provide regular sales pipeline, activity, and performance reports.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience within the HVAC industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
- Proven track record in technical sales, specification sales, or consulting engineering.
- Strong understanding of the engineering and construction sector.
- Established network of consultants, developers, owners, and industry stakeholders.
- Commercially astute with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
