Part-Time Bilingual Optician/Clinical Assistant – Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: 2–3 days per week
Compensation: $26 per hour + mileage reimbursement & travel pay

About The Opportunity
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) Optician / Medical Assistant to support senior outpatient clinics across Los Angeles County. What You’ll Do
- Assist the optometrist with patient intake, visual screenings, and basic diagnostic testing
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, including bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) communication
- Assist with eyewear selection, adjustments, fittings, and basic repairs
- Set up, break down, and maintain portable optometry equipment
- Follow sterilization, safety, and infection control protocols
- Complete basic documentation, charting, and administrative tasks
- Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred
- Medical Assisting experience is a plus
- Bi‑lingual proficiency required
- Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred
- Strong understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Able to lift and transport equipment (typically 25–50 lbs.)
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening
- Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
