What you’ll be doing...
As a Client Executive in the Broadband Channel Organization, you will lead the day to day overall strategic direction and sales execution for our Door-to-Door Partner (D2D) success, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and frontline sales execution. You will provide the direction needed to drive "Quality Growth" across converged Wireless and Wireline (Fios) business segments.
- Driving Strategic Direction: Communicating goals, managing KPIs, and facilitating training to ensure the D2D partner meets aggressive performance targets.
- Driving Sales Excellence: Acting as a sales-driven leader who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves, side by side sell, and connect directly with customers to resolve escalations or save deals.
- Training & Sales Enablement: Empowering every representative for success by expertly coaching partners on complex rate structures, product offerings, and integrated solutions (Wireless + Fiber).
- Strategic Partner Upskilling: Leading weekly Results Reviews and C-Suite partnership meetings to align on KPIs, while simultaneously providing field "side by side" collaboration to improve rep-level execution.
- Mastering the "Pivot": Driving a solution-selling culture by teaching reps how to craft powerful positioning statements and use proven techniques to overcome customer objections.
- Optimizing Operations: Mitigate churn and cancellations, through solution selling techniques and resolve high-level friction points like fraud holds or credit adjustments.
- Analyzing Performance: Using data-driven insights from campaign reporting, interactive role plays and field interactions to spark new creative approaches and business strategies.
What we’re looking for...
You are a high-performing sales leader who drives results by example, balancing the drive for sales volume with the strategic perspective needed for sustainable, high-quality growth. Hands-on and highly intuitive, you excel at reading people and establishing trust with partners and customers alike. Rather than simply reporting metrics, you analyze them to eliminate operational friction and enhance the overall customer experience. Your technical expertise in complex wireless and fiber product suites, combined with your executive presence, enables you to effectively hold partners accountable to rigorous operational standards.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Prior business sales experience with a proven track record of hitting aggressive targets.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Verizon solution portfolios, including One Talk, FiOS, and Wireless business products.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to influence C-Suite leadership and manage 3rd-party vendor/partner relationships.
- Operational Grit: Experience in navigating complex internal roadblocks (e.g., fraud overrides, spending limits) to ensure a seamless customer experience. You are resourceful and leverage your VBG network to solve complex problems.
- Coaching Credentials: Experience designing and delivering training on solution selling and converged (Wireless + Wireline) sales strategies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Channel or Indirect Experience: Demonstrated expertise in indirect sales channels and third-party partner management.
- System Proficiency: Advanced experience navigating CRM and reporting tools.
- Operational Excellence: A track record of reducing system friction points, mitigating churn and managing end-to-end "orders in jeopardy."
Travel requirements for this role range from 25%- 50%, involving visits to partner offices as well as side-by-side field collaboration with your client executives and agents.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
Where you’ll be working
In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.
