About The Role
Drive sales growth and market penetration of the company’s Women’s Health pharmaceutical portfolio within the assigned territory by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, executing effective product promotion, and identifying business opportunities. The role is responsible for achieving sales targets while ensuring high-quality product communication, effective territory management, and compliance with company policies and applicable pharmaceutical industry standards.
What You Will Deliver
- Provide input to medical sales plans based on experience. Implement action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key healthcare professionals, particularly:
- Obstetricians & Gynecologists (Ob-Gyn)
- General Practitioners
- Midwives and other relevant healthcare professionals
- Track self/team progress against key performance indicators and sales plans. Prioritize and review daily sales activities performed.
- Call/visit existing and prospective customers to solicit orders, gain demonstrations and quotation opportunities.
- Report on the activities and products of the competitors.
- Record sales data for reporting and tracking purposes. Maintain relevant customer data in appropriate customer relationship management databases.
- Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc. to improve sales targets.
- Maintain a customer complaints/issues log and follow up on customer issues.
- Respond to customer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective customers of promotions and new/upgraded products.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery or installation of products/systems.
What You Bring
Approximately 2–5 years of pharmaceutical sales / medical representative / product specialist experience. Previous experience handling Women’s Health, Ob-Gyn, fertility, contraception, maternal health, or related therapeutic areas is highly preferred. Established relationships with Ob-Gyn specialists and relevant healthcare professionals within the assigned territory would be an advantage. Strong track record of achieving sales targets is preferred.
