About The Role
The Service Engineer is responsible for delivering technical support, installation, and after-sales services for advanced automation and precision equipment within DKSH's Technology business. This role is integral to building strong customer relationships and driving service excellence across DKSH's growing solutions portfolio.
What You Will Deliver
- Support the achievement of service sales and solutions targets by identifying and developing new opportunities, working closely with sales and service leaders and account teams to continuously grow the prospect and opportunity pipeline
- Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment at customer sites
- Deliver training to customers on the operation, setup, and maintenance of equipment
- Provide after-sales technical support and service activities to ensure optimal equipment performance in the field
- Conduct product application testing for customers to validate performance and functionality
- Develop and build strong relationships with customers, positioning DKSH as a trusted and reliable solutions provider
- Provide regular project progress updates to the reporting manager
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in a similar field, preferably within the Semiconductor or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) industry
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following equipment types:
- Laser Welders
- Laser Marking Systems
- Ultraviolet (UV) Curing Equipment
- X-ray Systems
- Familiarity and working knowledge of at least one of the following:
- Vacuum Plasma Systems
- Atmospheric Plasma Systems
- VJE Rework Systems
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas on short notice
- Ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Good communication skills
