We are looking for a commercially driven Enterprise Sales Manager – Higher Education to build and grow the enterprise software business across universities and colleges in the Philippines. The role will own the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting and relationship building through solution presentations, negotiations, and contract closure.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B technology, SaaS, ERP, EdTech, or enterprise software sales, combined with a strong understanding of the Philippine higher-education market and the ability to engage senior institutional decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for universities and colleges across the Philippines.
- Build and maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline through prospecting, referrals, networking, conferences, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers including University Presidents, Rectors, Vice Presidents, Registrars, CIOs, IT Directors, and Deans.
- Lead the complete enterprise sales cycle from discovery and qualification through demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and contract signing.
- Understand institutional business, operational, technology, and strategic challenges and map them to relevant software solutions.
- Position solutions across SIS, ERP, Campus Management, LMS, OBE, AI, and related education technology platforms.
- Conduct consultative discovery sessions and develop solution-oriented sales approaches for prospective institutions.
- Work with Product and Technical teams to coordinate detailed product demonstrations, solution workshops, and technical discussions.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, sales presentations, RFP responses, and public-tender submissions.
- Represent the organisation at higher-education conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional stakeholders throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Coordinate effective handovers to Implementation and Customer Success teams after deal closure.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional modules, services, and technology solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activities, opportunity stages, forecasts, and pipeline information.
- Track performance against revenue targets and provide regular sales updates and forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, institutional requirements, and emerging opportunities within Philippine higher education.
- Collaborate with global sales, product, implementation, and technical teams to execute strategic opportunities.
- Travel regularly within the Philippines for customer meetings, demonstrations, conferences, and business-development activities.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3–7+ years of experience in B2B technology, SaaS, ERP, EdTech, enterprise software, or solution sales.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Direct experience selling to universities, colleges, or educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine higher-education ecosystem and institutional buying processes.
- Experience managing complex enterprise deals involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover business challenges and position technology solutions effectively.
- Confidence and communication skills to engage C-suite and senior academic/administrative decision-makers.
- Strong presentation, demonstration, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing capabilities.
- Experience selling SIS, ERP, LMS, student-management, campus-management, or education technology solutions would be an advantage.
- Experience responding to RFPs, public-sector tenders, and formal procurement processes would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, CRM, and sales reporting skills.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Philippines.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify account-growth and cross-selling opportunities.
- A proactive, target-oriented mindset with strong ownership of the assigned territory and sales outcomes.
