At PMI U.S., we're transforming an industry and building our future around one clear purpose: delivering a smoke-free future.

We're looking for ambitious, curious, and driven early career talent ready to make an impact from day one. As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll gain hands-on business experience, take ownership of a territory, build customer relationships, and develop the commercial and leadership skills needed for a successful career.

This opportunity sits within our Swedish Match affiliate, home to category-leading brands including ZYN nicotine pouches.

About the Opportunity

As an Early Careers Territory Sales Manager, you won't spend your days behind a desk. You'll own a business territory, partner directly with retail customers, analyze sales data, and execute strategies that drive growth in your market.

You'll learn how consumer products are brought to life in the marketplace while developing skills in sales, relationship management, negotiation, business analytics, and strategic planning.

Location: Eastern Region (U.S.)

Candidates selected for this opportunity will be hired into PMI U.S.'s Eastern Region and placed into a specific sales territory based on business needs. Territory assignments are typically located in or near major metropolitan markets. Final placement details will be shared prior to the start date. Candidates should be open to relocation within the region.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Build relationships with retail partners and become a trusted business advisor.
  • Support sales growth and execution within your assigned territory.
  • Use sales and market data to identify opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Present business recommendations and fact-based insights to customers.
  • Execute merchandising, promotional, and visibility initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights.
  • Ensure product availability, freshness, and in-store execution standards.
  • Manage territory administration, reporting, expenses, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to support business goals.
  • Develop leadership, communication, and customer management skills through real-world experience.

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required or expected prior to start date.
  • Recent graduates or early career professionals with up to two years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Interest in sales, business development, account management, consumer goods, retail operations, or commercial leadership.
  • Leadership experience through internships, campus organizations, athletics, military service, volunteer work, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, resilience, and problem-solving ability.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Annual Base Salary

$68,000

What Will Make You Successful

  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Confidence engaging with customers and building relationships.
  • Curiosity to understand business challenges and identify solutions.
  • Strong ownership mentality and willingness to take initiative.
  • Desire to build a long-term career within a growing organization.
