Position Overview
Concord Prep School is seeking a Director of Community Marketing & Partnerships to strengthen our presence in Orange County and support the growth of domestic student enrollment. This role will focus primarily on offline marketing, community outreach, strategic partnerships, local events, and lead generation.
The ideal candidate is highly connected within the Orange County community and understands how to build relationships that create meaningful exposure to prospective students and families. This is a highly external-facing role that requires strong communication, networking, relationship-building, and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute offline marketing and community outreach strategies to increase Concord's visibility throughout Orange County.
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, educational organizations, community groups, youth organizations, businesses, chambers of commerce, and other potential partners.
- Identify and participate in community events, education fairs, networking events, and other opportunities to connect with prospective families.
- Develop partnerships and referral channels that can generate qualified prospective student and family leads.
- Plan and support open houses, campus tours, information sessions, community events, and other student recruitment activities.
- Represent Concord Prep School at external events and serve as a strong ambassador for the school within the local community.
- Work closely with the Admissions team to turn community outreach and marketing activities into qualified leads and enrollment opportunities.
- Track the effectiveness of partnerships, events, and outreach activities and recommend strategies to improve results.
- Identify new opportunities to strengthen Concord's brand awareness and reputation among Orange County families.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, community outreach, strategic partnerships, business development, student recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of offline and relationship-based marketing.
- Strong professional or community network within Orange County, or demonstrated experience successfully developing local relationships.
- Proven experience building partnerships, organizing outreach initiatives, or generating leads through community engagement.
- Excellent communication, networking, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong initiative and ability to independently develop and execute new outreach opportunities.
- Ability to connect relationship-building activities with measurable business, lead generation, or enrollment goals.
- Experience in education, admissions, private schools, or education marketing is preferred but not required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate combines strong offline marketing skills with an established Orange County network. They should be comfortable building relationships, attending community events, developing partnerships, and representing Concord in front of local organizations and families. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can go beyond simply building relationships and use those relationships to generate qualified prospective-family leads, increase local awareness, and support domestic student enrollment growth.
Compensation:
$100,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
