We run paid advertising across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and native platforms to connect Americans struggling with credit card debt to companies that can help them. We spend real money on ads every single day, which means the creative we produce directly drives the business. We're not looking for someone to make pretty videos. We're looking for someone who understands that a video's job is to stop a scroll, hold attention for 30 seconds, and make someone pick up the phone.

Job Description

What you'll do:

• Edit 15–20 short-form direct-response ads per week for Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Snapchat
• Cut fast-paced, hook-driven creative: strong first 3 seconds, hard cuts, zooms, pattern interrupts, no dead air
• Build UGC-style ads, testimonial edits, text-on-screen ads, and longer-form video sales letters
• Add captions, sound design, b-roll, stock footage, motion graphics, and on-screen text overlays
• Produce multiple variations of winning ads — new hooks, new intros, new angles — so we can test at volume
• Take direct feedback and turn around revisions quickly

What we need from you:

• 2+ years editing short-form video, ideally for ads, social content, or a marketing agency
• You can cut fast. Turnaround matters more here than perfection — a good ad shipped today beats a great ad shipped next week
• Excellent eye for pacing, rhythm, and timing to music
• Fluent written and spoken English — you'll be editing English-language ads for a US audience and need to understand the script, the tone, and the emotion
• Reliable internet and generator or backup power — this is a daily-output role
• Available to overlap with US Eastern Time hours for feedback and calls
• Comfortable working independently with a task list, not waiting to be managed

Bonus points:

• You've edited direct-response or performance ads before and understand hooks, CTAs, and testing
• You know your way around AI tools — ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, etc...
• Familiarity with Meta's advertising policies and what does and doesn't get flagged
• Basic motion graphics and animated text presets you've built yourself

Compensation

$1200 USD/month base, plus 5% of profits. The profit share is the important part. Most editing jobs pay you the same whether your work performs or not. Here, when an ad you cut starts winning and we scale spend behind it, you get paid more. Your upside is directly tied to the quality of your creative — and we'll show you the numbers so you can see exactly what's working. You'll get full performance data on your edits: which hooks held attention, which ads drove calls, which ones we killed. Very few editing roles give you that feedback loop.
