Technical project manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead cross-functional engineering teams in delivering complex, high-impact digital solutions. In this dual-capacity role, you will facilitate Agile delivery processes, manage project lifecycles end-to-end, and serve as the essential bridge between client stakeholders, product strategy, and our engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

• Agile Facilitation: Serve as Scrum Master for high-performing engineering teams, facilitating all core Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
• Project Delivery & Management: Oversee end-to-end technical project execution, scope, timeline, risk management, and client deliverables across modern web, cloud, AI, and data applications.
• Technical & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with technical leads, software architects, and client stakeholders to translate high-level business goals into actionable technical requirements and user stories.
• Blocker Removal & Optimization: Proactively identify and eliminate technical and procedural blockers, mitigate project risks, and optimize team velocity and workflow.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key project health metrics (burndown, velocity, cycle time, scope churn) using platforms like Jira and Confluence.
• Client Engagement: Maintain clear, proactive communication with enterprise clients, ensuring transparent updates on milestones, dependencies, and delivery progress.

Must-Haves:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master leading complex software engineering projects in an Agile environment.
• Certifications: Formal Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
• Technical Depth: A strong technical background or proven ability to comfortably engage in technical discussions (APIs, cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, modern frontend/backend frameworks).
• Tooling & Frameworks: Deep proficiency with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management suites like Jira, Confluence, Linear, or Azure DevOps.
• Communication: Outstanding client-facing consulting skills, stakeholder management, and clear written/verbal communication.
• Execution: Strong risk management, scope management, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, QA Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Experience working within a software consulting, agency, or IT professional services firm.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) or managing multi-team deliverables.
