As a Team Lead in the Renewables Studies group, you will be responsible for managing a team comprised of engineers responsible for power systems modelling and analysis. A Team Lead’s primary responsibility will be the accurate, timely, and quality completion of electrical engineering scopes assigned to the team. This will include coordinating with both internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Team Leads will be a mentor and coach to team members helping them grow individually as professionals. The Team Lead will be accountable for the financial, schedule and quality of projects assigned to their teams and work completed by their team members.
Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred
Experience: 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
Licensure: FE is required, PE is preferred
Proficiency in power system modeling software such as:
Possesses effective written and oral communications skills
Good interpersonal and people skills
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office setting, and some field work may be required
Travel: Typical: 15 – 25%
Physical Activities: Must be able to lift 25lbs.
