  • Lead full-scale DR exercise planning, execution, and post-mortem analysis across multi-site and multi-cloud infrastructures.
  • Define success criteria, metrics, and KPIs for DR processes, reporting insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Application Development, Security, and Governance teams to embed DR/HA early in the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and capacity planning to address evolving resiliency challenges.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years designing and implementing DR/HA solutions for enterprise-scale workloads in cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP as well as Disaster Recovery, Site Recovery Manager, cross-region replication, networking, and IAM services
  • Deep understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, Kubernetes, and database resiliency
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Preferred Skills

  • Practical expertise with automated DR tools such as AWS DRS, Microsoft Azure Site Recovery, Zerto, Veeam Backup & Replication, and IBM Resiliency Services
  • Experience scripting and integrating with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Demonstrated ability in risk assessment, impact analysis, and cost-benefit modeling for DR strategies
  • Background in hybrid/multi-cloud DR deployments
  • Advanced certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCAP DCV

Benefits

  • Opportunity to impact mission-critical operations and enterprise resilience
  • Collaborate with top-tier engineering, IT, and security teams
