POSITION SUMMARY

The SVP, Product Management, Origination role owns the products and experiences that enable banks and credit unions to attract, acquire, onboard, and deepen relationships with new and existing customers and members — spanning digital deposit account opening and eLending.

We are a remote-first company, with occasional travel required for team collaboration or client engagement.

YOUR DOMAIN: ORIGINATION

The Origination domain encompasses the technology, workflows, integrations, and experiences required to turn a prospect into an active banking customer or credit union member.

Deposit Origination

Own the end-to-end account-opening experience for consumer and business deposit products, including:

• Digital account opening and application workflows
• Customer and member onboarding
• Identity verification and authentication
• KYC, CIP, OFAC, fraud, and risk decisioning integrations
• Eligibility and membership qualification
• Product selection and configuration
• Account ownership and titling
• Beneficiaries and joint applicants
• Funding and initial deposits
• Disclosures, consent, and electronic signatures
• Application review, exception handling, and abandonment
• Third party relationships and integrations
• Core account creation and downstream integration
• Cross-sell and relationship expansion
• Conversion optimization across the origination funnel

Loan Origination

Own the digital lending origination experience from application through booking, including:

• Business and consumer loans and other digital products
• Applicant identity and eligibility
• Credit bureau and third-party data integrations
• Credit decisioning and underwriting workflows
• Pricing, offers, terms, and disclosures
• Document collection and verification
• Fraud and risk controls
• Automated and manual decisioning
• Adverse action and regulatory requirements
• Electronic signatures
• Funding and disbursement
• Loan booking and handoff to servicing/core systems
• Application status and customer communications
• Funnel performance and conversion optimization

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Product Leadership

Own and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the Origination domain.

Product & Commercial Ownership

Own measurable outcomes across the origination funnel, including application completion, approval, funding, booking, abandonment, and time-to-open.

Banking & Credit Union Domain Expertise

Serve as a senior subject matter expert for digital deposit and lending origination.

People Leadership

Build, develop, and lead the product talent responsible for the Origination domain.

Cross-Functional Product Delivery

Partner closely with Builders, Architects, Shippers, UX, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Implementation, and Client teams.

AI-First Product Leadership

Operate AI-first in how you research, analyze, define, prioritize, and deliver product capabilities.

Success in this role means Nymbus has a clearly differentiated, commercially compelling Origination platform that enables financial institutions to acquire and activate customers and members efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

Non-negotiables:

• Technical product management leadership
• Loan and Credit Card Origination product experience for SMB and Commercial
• Experience at product or Fintech organizations

Additional Requirements:

• Significant product, technology, or operational leadership experience within banking, credit unions, fintech, or financial services technology.
• Deep subject matter expertise in digital account opening, deposit origination, loan origination/eLending, or a closely related banking origination platform.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end customer/member application and onboarding lifecycle.
