Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead product vision, strategy, and execution for key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, engineering teams, UX/UI, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and deliver high-quality solutions that create measurable business value.

The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for translating business needs and customer requirements into clear product features and actionable user stories while ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities in alignment with business objectives.
• Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, technical dependencies, and market priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with engineering, architecture, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and other teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies as required.
• Clearly communicate product priorities and requirements to development teams and ensure shared understanding.
• Make informed decisions regarding scope, priorities, trade-offs, and release timelines.
• Work with customers and end users to understand pain points, needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Define and monitor product KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance and business impact.
• Analyze customer feedback, market trends, competitive offerings, and business data to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to establish release plans and ensure successful product launches.
• Ensure delivered features meet defined business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues that may impact product delivery.
• Champion Agile and product management best practices across cross-functional teams.
• Present product strategy, roadmap, progress, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve product functionality, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a related role.
• Strong experience working as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features based on business value.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern product development practices.
• Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and product specifications.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and product delivery processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• CSPO certification

Experience Required:

7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a related role.
