In close partnership with the Home Depot Sr. Director, Labor Relations and the VP of Human Resources at Temco, the Sr Manager, Labor Relations - Temco executes the Company's labor relations strategy to insure a union-free environment across The Home Depot enterprise, with a dedicated focus on Temco locations.
Manage issues affecting the Temco enterprise involving protected concerted activity, organized labor and positive associate relations; support, consult, and provide guidance to management at all levels of the organization on such issues.
Design positive associate relations and union-free trainings, learning programs, and work environment assessment tools and deliver virtual and in-person trainings across Temco.
Position Reports to Sr. Director Labor Relations.
Number of Direct Reports: 0
Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Experience in: union avoidance initiatives and labor strategy; development and delivery of leadership and employee training in labor issues; NLRB election campaigns including campaign communications, strategy, persuader advocacy, opposition research, and project management. Successful track record working in a large, complex organizational structure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. May provide functional leadership to others who formally report to another manager. Typically negotiates in a competitive or adversarial environment. Typically faces situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation. Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems. Once given general assignments, typically determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
The pay range for this position is between $110,000.00 - $180,000.00.
