About The Role:

YipitData works directly with some of the world's largest technology companies to help them make sense and action the vast amount of alternative data available. We source, clean, organize, and contextualize data so our clients can answer their high priority business questions.

We are hiring a Solutions Lead to own our relationships with leading Business & Consulting companies. You will lead discovery with these accounts, connect their needs to our datasets and solutions, and act as a thought leader on Business and Consulting markets. Working alongside our Revenue team, you will own the solution side of every pitch, trial, and renewal, and coordinate across the company to keep client deliveries on track and scope new ones.

This is a senior, client-facing role with regular exposure to executives and strategy, product, go-to-market, and finance teams. You could be a strong fit if you are equally comfortable digging into data, building a point of view on a market, and guiding a client from a vague question to a concrete solution.

This is a remote-first opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), or anywhere in the US.

As a Solutions Lead, you’ll gain experience in:

• Discovery & Thought Leadership: Responsible for running discovery to understand priorities and how these enterprises engage with alternative data today. You will develop and offer insights tailored to specific teams/use cases e.g. consulting/business workload adoption and competitive trends for product teams, customer spend and consumption patterns for strategy and finance teams, and market share and growth trends for senior leadership.
• Customer Engagement & Impact: At the end of the day, all our efforts aim to provide actionable insights with a measurable positive impact on our customer’s business. Solutions Leads partner with Revenue on pitches, trials, & renewals, owning the solution side of each conversation. The Solutions Lead helps connect the dots on how our data can answer new questions for our clients, and by expanding usage across their organizations.
• Cross Functional Delivery: Solutions Leads ensure data deliverables are coordinated with internal counterparts across engineering, data, and product. They will act as points of escalation for data questions, working with data counterparts towards resolutions.

You Are Likely To Succeed If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience working with consumer brands or technology firms in a client facing analytical role (solutions consulting, equity research, sales engineering, business strategy)
• A talent for data-driven storytelling
• Experience working with large fortune 500 companies, in the consumer or tech landscape, and a solid understanding of how they make money and what they need to know about their markets
• Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to executive audiences

The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $170,000 - $200,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation, with on-target earnings as well as an annual performance-based bonus. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.

The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
