Vorro is an enterprise data integration company and the creator of the BridgeGate Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (EiPaaS). BridgeGate uses a patented any-to-any integration technology, with visual mapping and workflow orchestration, to connect applications, business processes and external trading partners without the cost of custom interface development.

Vorro has been deployed in over 100 enterprise environments across healthcare, retail, insurance, logistics and specialty networks, with particular depth in healthcare, where BridgeGate helps payers, providers, EMR vendors, HIEs and pharmacies exchange clinical and financial data using standards such as HL7, CCD/CCDA and FHIR. Alongside the platform, Vorro offers fully managed integration services, taking ownership of data interfacing and partner coordination on customers’ behalf.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Solution Architect to own the technical design and solution roadmap for Vorro customer engagements built on BridgeGate. This is a customer-facing role: you will translate multi-system integration requirements into clear architectures, define phased implementation roadmaps, and govern delivery against them from discovery through production rollout.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture and Design

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for integration engagements on BridgeGate, covering integration patterns, data flow, interface design, security and scalability.
• Run discovery workshops to capture business processes, source and target systems, data formats and compliance needs, and convert these into documented technical requirements.
• Design any-to-any integration solutions across applications, EMRs, HIEs, payer systems, trading partners and internal enterprise systems, defining the data mapping and transformation logic involved.
• Produce and maintain solution design documents, interface specifications and data flow diagrams, and design for throughput, availability, error handling and monitoring.

Solution Roadmapping

• Build robust, phased solution roadmaps for each engagement, covering current state, target state, milestones, dependencies and sequencing.
• Maintain and revise the roadmap through the engagement as scope or priorities shift, and run regular checkpoints with customers and internal leadership on progress.
• Define migration roadmaps for customers moving off legacy interface engines onto BridgeGate, and scalability roadmaps so delivered solutions can absorb new partners and volumes without re-architecture.
• Feed capability gaps identified in customer roadmaps back to Product and Engineering.

Pre-Sales and Customer Engagement

• Support sales with technical discovery, solution positioning, architecture walkthroughs and proof of concept.
• Contribute solution design, estimates and delivery roadmap to RFPs, proposals and statements of work.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders, from integration analysts to CIOs.

Delivery Governance

• Govern implementation against the approved architecture and roadmap through design reviews and go-live readiness checks.
• Provide technical guidance to integration developers and support engineers through build, testing and deployment.
• Lead resolution of escalated technical issues in production-critical integrations, and ensure solutions meet security, compliance and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or Integration Architect capacity.
• Hands-on background with integration platforms, interface engines, ESB or iPaaS technologies, and API design.
• Working knowledge of data formats and protocols: XML, JSON, EDI, flat file, REST, SOAP, SFTP and messaging systems.
• Demonstrated experience building and owning solution roadmaps, including phasing, milestones and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong data mapping and transformation expertise across systems with no common standard.
• Good understanding of cloud/hybrid deployment, and experience designing for security and compliance in regulated environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers in a pre-sales or delivery capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 v2, CCD/CCDA, FHIR, X12 EDI.
• Experience integrating EMR, EHR, HIE, pharmacy or payer systems, and familiarity with HIPAA requirements.
• Cloud or architecture certifications such as AWS, Azure or TOGAF.
• Experience working with US-based customers and partial overlap with US time zones.
