Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Service and Installation Manager to join our team in Florida.

Requirements

• Provide training for personnel on service, installation processes, and procedures
• Provide leadership to technicians
• Place requisitions to Manager for field personnel necessary tools and equipment
• Enforce proper processes are enforced for maintaining all tools and equipment
• Manage the service and installation fleet
• Supervise day to day service technician scheduling
• Super storm restoration service process
• Assure that monthly hut inspections and maintenance are compliant to company procedures
• Supervise Connect commercial installations
• Assist with supervision of Connect Complete projects
• Build/maintain positive business relationships with our co-op clients
• Travel to co-op clients as needed
• Assist Conexon Project Managers & Maintenance Managers troubleshoot issues in the field when needed
• Assist with escalated customer complaints/issues as required
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Highschool diploma required (College degree preferred)
• > 5 years’ experience in fiber optic ISP operations/construction field
• Strong P.C. and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision
• Strong leadership skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to walk long distances on a regular basis
• Ability to bend stoop kneel Crouch or reach as required by job tasks etc.
