Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer I to join Mycronic’s Global Technologies division working within our Die Bonding business line. It is an exciting time to join our team!

Our clients are in major industrial sectors including data centers, aerospace & defense, medical, microwave & RF, and 5G wireless.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance at customer facilities
• Install and implement hardware and software upgrades to support equipment performance and functionality
• Provide timely technical support to customers by phone and email, addressing service-related questions and concerns
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate findings and performance feedback to the factory
• Deliver technical training to customers at their facilities, ensuring effective operation and use of equipment
• Provide support to Service Engineer II on technical projects, service activities, and customer needs as assigned
• Collaborate with the Applications and Testing Group to support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and related technical initiatives
• Partner with Sales personnel by providing technical information, responding to customer inquiries, and participating in customer visits as needed
• Collaborate with Marketing by gathering and communicating customer feedback, product needs, and service-related trends
• Represent and promote company products and services professionally and in accordance with established training and guidelines
• Travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico to support customer installations, service needs, and business activities
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives

Experience and Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 3–5 years of professional experience in the design, repair, maintenance, or field service of semiconductor back-end equipment strongly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with semiconductor back-end manufacturing processes and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with root cause analysis and the development and implementation of effective corrective actions is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico to support customer and business requirements
