This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (React/Front End) based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to build high-quality software products for a variety of client environments. You will take ownership of front-end features from application design through implementation and release. The position combines deep React engineering with a strong focus on testing, CI/CD, security, and maintainability. You will help establish reusable patterns and engineering practices that allow products to scale safely. As a senior technical contributor, you will mentor engineers and serve as a trusted technical partner to client stakeholders. The environment is collaborative, distributed, and fast-moving, with exposure to different technologies and enterprise platforms. This is a fully remote position with limited travel for company-wide events and client engagements.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own front-end development while helping strengthen engineering standards, delivery practices, and client relationships. Own React feature development end-to-end, from application design through implementation, testing, and release. Establish and improve automated quality gates across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Lead code reviews to improve quality, consistency, maintainability, and engineering standards across client codebases. Create and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows covering builds, testing, linting, and security checks. Administer GitHub repositories, including dependency management, permissions, branch protection, and repository hygiene. Partner with client teams to improve security and quality through dependency updates, vulnerability remediation, and static analysis. Build reusable front-end patterns, shared components, and design system integrations that support scalable product development. Mentor and pair with engineers across distributed and client teams on modern React and front-end practices. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead technical conversations with clients, translate business needs into technical plans, set expectations, and provide thoughtful technical guidance. Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and client platforms, including enterprise systems that may be unfamiliar. Contribute to additional engineering initiatives and responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate brings strong front-end engineering expertise, practical leadership experience, and the ability to operate effectively across multiple projects and client environments. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Deep experience with React and Redux or comparable state-management solutions, including application design. Strong TypeScript experience and experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend platforms. Experience with React unit and integration testing as well as end-to-end testing. Demonstrated experience leading code reviews on React-based codebases. Experience authoring and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows and administering GitHub repositories. Experience developing accessible and responsive user interfaces, ideally within a shared design system. Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and technologies effectively while adapting to changing environments. Comfortable translating business requirements into clear technical approaches and communicating trade-offs with stakeholders. Experience with Vitest, Playwright, Snyk, SonarQube, Cursor or other AI-assisted development tools, Next.js, AWS or other cloud platforms, or enterprise platforms such as IBM TRIRIGA is highly valued. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated annual salary of $105,000–$125,000, depending on role scope, title, relevant experience, and other business factors. Fully remote work environment. Generous paid time off. Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance. Short- and long-term disability coverage. 401(k) plan. Referral bonus opportunities. Company-wide retreats and collaborative events. Travel to two company-wide events annually, with travel and accommodation expenses covered. Up to four annual on-site visits to the client's headquarters in Atlanta, GA, with additional travel occasionally required based on client or team needs. Opportunity to work alongside experienced technologists across a range of software products, technologies, and enterprise environments. Professional growth through technical leadership, mentoring, and exposure to diverse engineering challenges.
