Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) – Platform & CI/CD

Location: Remote (U.S. only).

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking Senior Software Development Engineers to support platform enablement and CI/CD for a large-scale technology organization using Amazon’s internal builder stack. This is not a generic AWS or Jenkins role. You must have hands-on experience with Amazon internal tools (Brazil, Apollo, Pipelines, Coral) and be able to enable microservices for Model Context Protocol (MCP) on Ada Agent and Quick Suite.

What You’ll Do:

• Provision test accounts, access, and environments on native builder systems.
• Design, write, and run integration and load tests in Amazon Pipelines.
• Refactor and expose microservice APIs so they are MCP-ready (metadata, fields, tool names).
• Enable and register MCP endpoints in Ada Agent and Quick Suite; author AgentCards.
• Support deployments via Brazil version sets and keep pipelines healthy.
• Remediate Policy Engine and SAS security and policy findings.
• Handle manual deploys, minor defects, and low-severity operational tickets.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years software engineering in Java, C++, or TypeScript.
• 3+ years hands-on Amazon internal builder tools: Brazil (version sets), Pipelines, Apollo, and Coral.
• 1+ years AI agent / MCP work (Ada Agent, Quick Suite, or equivalent Amazon agent stack).
• Experience with Amazon security and policy frameworks (Policy Engine, SAS).
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only — no sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must work remote from the United States.
• Standard AWS CI/CD only (Jenkins, CodePipeline, CDK) does not meet this requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kiro IDE and BuilderHub.
• Gordian.
• Distributed systems / SOA.
• Current or recent Amazon SDE or Amazon contractor.
