Senior sap commerce engineer

Dinarys is an Ecommerce Development Company helping retailers, brands, and manufacturers across DACH, the UK, and the US build, scale, and optimize digital commerce solutions through custom development, architecture consulting, integrations, and AI-driven innovation. We’re looking for a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to join our engineering team and work on complex digital commerce solutions for international clients. This role is particularly focused on SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris, SmartEdit, and CMS modernization, including migrations from SAP Commerce’s built-in CMS to modern headless CMS solutions.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain scalable solutions based on SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris.
• Work hands-on with SmartEdit and SAP Commerce built-in CMS.
• Design and implement CMS modernization and migration solutions.
• Migrate content and CMS functionality from SmartEdit / built-in SAP Commerce CMS to headless CMS platforms.
• Analyze existing CMS architecture and identify opportunities for modernization.
• Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with headless CMS and other external systems.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize existing solutions.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, frontend/backend developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience with SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris.
• Strong hands-on experience with SmartEdit.
• Practical experience with SAP Commerce built-in CMS.
• Proven experience migrating from SmartEdit / SAP Commerce CMS to a headless CMS.
• Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture and extension development.
• Experience with integrations and APIs.
• Ability to analyze legacy solutions and contribute to modernization initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in distributed/international teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with specific headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Storyblok, Contentstack, or similar.
• Experience with composable commerce architectures.
• Experience with large-scale retail or digital commerce platforms.
