Job Description

About Kamino

Kamino's mission is to create liquidity and utility for every asset. We want the world's best investments to be available through the financial platforms people already trust, and we want investors to be able to borrow against what they own when they need liquidity, instead of having to sell.

Today, the most valuable assets in the world are often the least useful to own. Trillions of dollars sit in private markets, behind high minimums and holding periods that can run for years. Tokenization is starting to move these assets onto shared, programmable infrastructure, but putting an asset onchain is only the first step. To be useful, it still needs distribution, compliance, servicing, credit and liquidity.

Kamino already runs the credit and liquidity engine at scale. It is the largest credit protocol on Solana and the largest credit platform for real-world assets onchain, with more than $650 billion in cumulative transaction volume and more than $20 billion in loans originated.

Now we are building the rest of that system for institutions. Kamino recently named Yieldstreet co-founder Michael Weisz as CEO and is building a new HQ in New York, alongside the asset managers and financial platforms that will shape this market. Almost none of that market exists yet, and we intend to build it.

The role

Kamino is hiring a Senior Product Data Analyst to build and own the product data function across our direct and institutional products. You will connect marketing, product, onchain and partner data to explain how customers discover Kamino, put capital to work and continue using our products.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining technical foundation-building with product and commercial analysis. As the analytical partner to Product and Product Marketing, you will own work from instrumentation and production data models through experimentation, recommendations and measurement of the result. The mandate is to build trustworthy data and use it to shape decisions—not simply produce reports.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and own the product data foundation. Establish Kamino’s product analytics capability, from instrumentation and production pipelines through data models, quality controls and reporting. Connect marketing, product, onchain and partner data into a trusted basis for decisions.
  • Explain the customer journey. Identify what turns discovery into funded activity, repeat use and retention—and where customers drop out across direct and partner-distributed products.
  • Measure marketing and growth. Build attribution and evaluate campaigns, launches and lifecycle programs against customer quality and commercial outcomes.
  • Measure institutional and partner adoption. Track the path from integration and launch to live usage and expansion, showing which partners and distribution models create durable value.
  • Turn evidence into decisions. Own the work from an ambiguous question through analysis to a clear recommendation and measurement of the result. Design and evaluate experiments, and advise Product, Marketing and Business Development. Make data quality, statistical limits and uncertainty explicit.

What you bring

  • 6+ years across product analytics, growth analytics, data science, analytics engineering or a closely related field.
  • Expert SQL and strong Python skills, including writing maintainable analytical code, debugging difficult queries and reviewing others’ work.
  • Experience building production data models and pipelines using dbt or an equivalent approach, with ownership of event schemas and trusted metrics.
  • Direct experience serving both Product and Product Marketing across D2C digital products and B2B or platform products, with experience in financial or other high-stakes transactional products in the U.S. market.
  • A record of measuring the customer journey from acquisition through retention, including segmentation, attribution, launch measurement, lifecycle analysis and growth experiments.
  • Strong statistical judgment across experimentation, causal analysis and small or biased samples. You can distinguish what the evidence supports from what remains uncertain.
  • Product and commercial judgment to challenge the question, choose the right measures and recommend action, backed by clear writing and independent ownership of the work.
  • Daily fluency with AI-assisted analysis and development tools that improve the speed and quality of your work.

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Direct experience with crypto, digital assets or onchain data.
  • Experience combining marketing, product, customer and onchain data.
  • Experience with lending, investing, marketplaces or financial infrastructure.
  • Experience as the first product analytics hire in a lean product organization.

Working at Kamino

You will work closely with the Staff Product Manager and Head of Product Marketing. Engineering and Design will be daily partners. You will also work directly with the CEO and CTO on company-level product and growth questions.

As Kamino's product portfolio grows, you will help define how the function should scale. The role stays close to the work, from instrumentation and data modeling through analysis and product recommendations.

This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates worldwide.

Compensation and benefits

The expected annual base salary range for this role is USD $160,000–$190,000. Kamino expects to offer a competitive package consisting of base salary, a performance-based bonus and long-term KMNO participation.

Final terms will reflect the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and agreed scope of the role.

Benefits and applicable employment terms will be documented as part of the formal offer.

Kamino is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building an inclusive workplace. Kamino does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
