Job Overview

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Requirement/Must Have: 8+ years of SQL Server DBA experience in enterprise environments. Strong Always On, T-SQL, and performance tuning expertise. MySQL administration experience preferred. Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience a plus. Availability during business hours (ET). Ability to participate in on-call rotation. Ability to execute changes during off-hours maintenance windows.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and tune SQL Server (2016-2022) across production and non-production environments.
• Manage backup/recovery, Always On availability groups, replication, and patching/upgrades.
• Execute changes during off-hours maintenance windows.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident/root-cause resolution.
• Support application teams with deployments, refreshes, and schema changes.
• Maintain security, access controls, and audit compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Nice to Have: MySQL administration experience. Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience.
