Senior manager/director, creator marketing

Ursa Major is looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially-oriented, strategic relationship-builder to develop creator marketing into a meaningful brand-building and growth engine.

This person will own our creator ecosystem holistically — connecting work that currently spans organic relationships and seeding, affiliate, TikTok Shop, paid creator partnerships, UGC/content creation, events and creator content used across our own organic and paid channels.

Our goal isn’t to accumulate creators or generate posts. It’s to build an intentional, synergistic network of people who genuinely fit Ursa Major, develop enduring relationships with them, and systematically learn which creators, audiences, products, stories and partnership models work best together.

What You’ll Do

• Own Ursa Major’s overall creator marketing strategy, roadmap and budget – working closely with our founders, internal team and outside agency partners
• Identify, recruit and nurture a diverse network of highly aligned creators, all running through a simple, smart CRM system
• Develop long-term, commercially sound relationships with our most valuable creator partners
• Lead organic seeding, gifting, paid creator partnerships and creator experiences
• Own our affiliate creator strategy, including ShopMy and other relevant platforms
• Oversee our TikTok Shop creator strategy
• Develop creator-generated content as a valuable resource for our organic and paid channels
• Build a disciplined testing and learning approach across creator personas, products, messages and partnership models
• Connect creator insights back into Social, Creative, Growth, PR and Product Marketing
• Measure the brand, content and commercial impact of our creator ecosystem - including providing monthly updates on KPIs and learnings
• Collaborate on or lead suitable brand partnerships when appropriate
• Work closely with our agency partners (paid social UGC, ShopMy, TTS, etc) and over time build and manage a small internal creator team (will have some support from internal team in the interim)

Who You Are

You’re a relationship-builder with a strategist’s brain, strong brand instincts and a commercial orientation.

You’re scrappy, think creatively and relish operating in the dynamic creator marketplace. You can spot brand-aligned creators with genuine potential, understand what makes a brand/creator relationship authentic, and enjoy building lasting relationships rather than executing one-off transactions.

At the same time, you’re analytically rigorous. You understand affiliate economics, paid partnerships, attribution and performance marketing — and know when to use data and when good judgment matters more. You’re adept at fostering goodwill with creators, while negotiating smart partnerships with sensible economics.

Ideally, you bring 5–7+ years of relevant core experience across creator/influencer marketing, creator and brand partnerships, affiliate or related consumer marketing roles, with a track record of building dynamic programs rather than simply administering them.

How We’ll Measure Success

Success will be measured by the quality and productivity of our creator ecosystem, not simply its size. Key measures will include qualified active creator relationships, creator retention/repeat activation, content quality and usable asset yield, creator-attributed brand discovery, new customers and revenue, affiliate/TikTok Shop performance, paid creator economics, and the performance of creator content across Ursa Major’s own organic and paid channels relative to our total investment.
