Duties

• Collaborate cross-functionally with key business leaders to provide financial insights, develop and track key financial performance indicators (KPIs), and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Act as the primary liaison between the finance and accounting departments and business units, translating financial data into actionable business strategies.
• Advise, educate, and influence stakeholders by providing financial expertise and strategic recommendations, fostering a finance-driven decision-making culture.
• Analyze and communicate key financial metrics—including revenue, gross profit, and volume—using financial models, data visualizations, and written reports.
• Lead the planning and execution of revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) forecasts, including annual and long-range business planning processes.
• Oversee the development and implementation of structured quarterly financial forecast updates, partnering with business leaders to ensure alignment with the overall financial strategy.
• Design, build, and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment analysis, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Interpret financial data to assess business investment opportunities, providing insights to guide resource allocation and operational decision-making.
• Identify financial trends and integrate data-driven insights into future financial planning and forecasting processes to enhance business performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), account relationship management, or business development.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and reporting platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar);
• At least 5 years of experience applying quantitative and analytical skills to financial modeling and data analysis;
• At least 5 years of experience identifying and solving complex financial problems using data-driven insights;
• At least 5 years of experience translating financial data into actionable recommendations;
• At least 5 years of experience with stakeholder engagement.

Alternatively, will also accept: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and at least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), account relationship management, or business development.

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and reporting platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar);
• At least 3 years of experience applying quantitative and analytical skills to financial modeling and data analysis;
• At least 3 years of experience identifying and solving complex financial problems using data-driven insights;

Telecommuting permissible from home office anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation

$171,000 - $176,000 a year. Compensation: Base pay is $171,000–176,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Voltus also offers a range of benefits including: unlimited PTO for full-time employees, parental leave, and a comprehensive benefits package to promote health, wellness, and financial security.

Voltus teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location (in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description).
