Job Description

Overview We're seeking a Senior Analyst to support our AI enablement efforts by analyzing data across multiple platforms, identifying risks, and recommending enforcement mechanisms to block or remediate them. The ideal candidate turns complex data into clear insights and can explain not just what needs to happen, but why.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze data from multiple platforms to build a unified view of AI usage and risk
• Pull insights from the data and translate them into actionable recommendations
• Identify AI-related risks and recommend enforcement mechanisms (blocking, remediation, or other controls)
• Clearly articulate risk and the rationale behind required actions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Draft compelling narratives and executive-ready presentations in PowerPoint
• Document requirements and manage work in a task board (e.g., Jira), tracking progress and surfacing blockers early for senior team action

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an analyst role
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data modeling)
• Strong ability to derive insights and recommendations from data
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain risk and "why" clearly
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including storytelling and narrative development

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with AI technologies and/or cybersecurity
• Experience documenting requirements and managing work in Jira or a similar tool
• Proactive approach to identifying blockers and escalating appropriately

Ideal Candidate

A structured, curious analyst who is comfortable working with data from many sources, can distill it into a clear story, and keeps work moving without needing heavy direction.

Q & A from the client

Which platforms, systems, and data sources will this person be analyzing? NextThink, BeyondTrust, Palo Alto. Seems that the priority is a strong AI Governance/AI Risk Analyst- is my assumption accurate that AI/Cybersecurity experience is a must? If so, what specific AI and cybersecurity risks will this person be responsible for identifying (ie. Shadow AI usage, data leakage into public LLMs, prompt injection risks, etc.) AI/Cyber experience is not a must but very strongly preferred. Experience understanding how MCPs, Local AI models, and understanding user behaviors around would be great. Some experience dealing with user change management would be great as well. Is the ideal candidate coming from a cybersecurity/risk background who can analyze data, or a data analyst background with AI/cyber experience? I'd say its more Risk background with strong data analysis.
