Location: 100% Remote – U.S. only

Contract: ASAP – 12/31/2026

Visa: USC or GC only (Genuine)

Rate: $80-90/hr on W2

Schedule: Must work PST hours

Interview: 2–3 video rounds

What are they REALLY looking for?

They need a Senior Security Architect who is a Microsoft security SME, especially around Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview, and Entra ID. The main goal is to secure Power BI/Fabric data when external customers/partners access dashboards.

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years Security Architect experience
• Microsoft Fabric security – MUST
• Microsoft Purview – MUST
• Microsoft Entra ID – MUST
• Power BI security
• RBAC – Role-Based Access Control
• RLS – Row-Level Security
• Data security & governance
• Multi-tenant/security architecture
• Security architecture + roadmap development
• Implementation and testing of security controls
• Experience preventing unauthorized/external data access

Big Plus:

Microsoft Entra B2B/B2C + multi-tenant segregation. This is a strong differentiator when screening candidates.

What will this person actually do?

Best Candidate Profile

Look for someone with titles like:

• Security Architect
• Cloud Security Architect
• Microsoft Security Architect
• Azure Security Architect
• Data Security Architect

But don't submit a generic Azure Security Architect. They need deep hands-on Microsoft Fabric + Purview + Entra security experience.

Avoid:

• Pure Power BI Developer
• Pure Data Architect
• Generic Azure Architect with no Fabric security
• Cybersecurity Architect with no Microsoft Fabric/Purview experience
• Azure AD/Entra-only candidate
