The Scientific Content Editor will be a key member of the Integra PrecisionQ business unit. The individual will serve as the final editorial and quality-control checkpoint for high-priority scientific deliverables, ensuring that materials are accurate, consistent, professionally formatted, and client-ready. The role supports publications, Market Insights initiatives, advisory boards, quality improvement programs, educational materials, and other scientific communications.

The Scientific Content Editor will partner closely with Scientific Content, Commercial Operations, Analytics, Quality Initiatives, and other cross-functional teams to edit, format, review, and standardize scientific materials while preserving scientific integrity and strategic intent. The role will also lead template development, content organization, version control, knowledge-management support, and continuous improvement of editorial and content-development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review scientific deliverables for clarity, readability, grammar, style, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to internal standards.
• Perform detailed quality-control reviews of presentations, reports, discussion guides, executive summaries, publications, educational materials, and other scientific communications.
• Ensure consistency of terminology, abbreviations, references, citations, tables, figures, formatting, and visual presentation across deliverables.
• Verify alignment of deliverables with established departmental templates, style guides, brand requirements, and formatting standards.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear statements, unsupported conclusions, reference discrepancies, and formatting issues, and escalate questions to content owners as appropriate.
• Support final review and readiness assessments before client delivery or external distribution.
• Maintain and refine PowerPoint slide masters, templates, layouts, formatting guidelines, and standardized document structures.
• Develop and improve reusable templates for reports, executive summaries, publications, discussion guides, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Standardize presentation design, visual consistency, navigation, branding, and document formatting across Scientific Strategy & Insights outputs.
• Apply advanced PowerPoint and Word formatting techniques to produce polished, professionally designed, and client-ready materials.
• Support organization and maintenance of departmental repositories for historical deliverables, publications, and scientific content.
• Maintain content libraries, shared resources, approved language banks, style guides, templates, and reusable scientific assets.
• Develop processes that improve knowledge retention, searchability, version control, and appropriate content reuse.
• Manage review logs, tracking documents, and editorial workflows to support efficient, on-time delivery.
• Consolidate and manage edits from multiple reviewers and stakeholders, confirming that approved changes are implemented accurately.
• Help develop and implement quality-control processes, editorial best practices, standard operating procedures, and scalable workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of scientific-content operations.
• Support implementation of AI-enabled editorial, formatting, and knowledge-management processes while maintaining appropriate human review and quality controls.
• Maintain standardized prompts, templates, review procedures, and quality-control checkpoints for AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, technical writing, life sciences, journalism, public health, or a related field.
• Four or more years of experience editing, quality reviewing, formatting, and preparing scientific, medical, clinical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other technical deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including slide masters, templates, layouts, formatting standards, and large-scale presentation development.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including styles, templates, section management, document cleanup, and quality review.
• Proficiency in survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey).
• Strong command of English grammar, scientific terminology, editorial standards, and professional writing conventions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to identify formatting, consistency, citation, reference, and quality issues.
• Experience managing multiple deliverables and review cycles concurrently within demanding timelines.
• Experience supporting scientific publications, advisory boards, market research, Market Insights, healthcare communications, or educational programs preferred.
• Familiarity with reference-management tools such as EndNote preferred.
• Experience in oncology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biotechnology, medical communications, or a related industry preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with scientific writers, analysts, project managers, commercial teams, designers, and leadership.

Travel required: 10% to 20%. This position requires candidates to reside in either the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones.
