Sales manager

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales representatives while driving consistent revenue performance. You will oversee day-to-day sales execution, pipeline management, and quota attainment, ensuring the team operates efficiently and meets performance expectations. This role is suited for professionals with strong leadership skills who are comfortable balancing people management with hands-on sales execution.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives
• Set clear performance expectations and sales targets
• Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting, and deal progression
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
• Support deal strategy, negotiations, and closing when needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sales execution
• Ensure accurate CRM usage and reporting across the team
• Drive consistent quota attainment and team performance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in sales, with 2+ years in a people management role
• Proven track record of leading teams to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and team performance
• Performance-driven and results-oriented mindset

Location: Remote United States or Canada

Salary and Benefits

• Base Salary: USD $95,000 to $130,000 annually
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): USD $150,000 to $200,000+
