About the Role

As the Review Generation Team Lead & Community Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of HG Insights' review generation program end-to-end. You will lead a team of campaign specialists and managers, set the direction for how we drive review submissions across our customer and enterprise base, and build a community of engaged reviewers who see ongoing value in participating. You'll partner closely with the Director of Leads, Content, and Research to align review generation with broader pipeline and content goals, and you'll use a data-driven approach to guide the team's priorities and measure impact.

What you'll do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization framework for all review generation efforts across product lines and customer segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for executing review campaigns, setting goals, and providing regular performance feedback.
• Partner with the Director of Leads, Content, and Research to align review generation priorities with pipeline, content, and research initiatives.
• Build and nurture a community of engaged reviewers and buyers, including recognition, incentive, and ambassador-style programs that encourage repeat participation.
• Set team-wide KPIs for review volume, quality, and velocity, and report on program performance to leadership.
• Work with the UGC team to ensure campaign content and messaging is consistent, compelling, and on-brand across all review generation touchpoints.
• Partner with Customer Success and Enterprise stakeholders to prioritize campaigns based on renewal, expansion, and strategic account needs, including direct customer engagement when needed.
• Establish and maintain compliance standards across the team (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email regulations) and ensure best practices are followed consistently.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing, and ensure the team applies these consistently.
• Stay current on review platform trends, community management best practices, and email marketing innovations, bringing new ideas back to the team.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in email marketing, community management, or a related field, including 1-2+ years in a people management or team lead role
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience managing or mentoring a team, with the ability to set goals, coach, and evaluate performance
• Skilled in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Ortto, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
• Strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills
• Experience designing and prioritizing campaigns across multiple stakeholders and customer segments
• Data-driven with the ability to translate campaign performance into team strategy
• Proficiency with CRM systems (such as Salesforce Data Cloud), and basic HTML, CSS, and/or Liquid
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working alongside directors or senior leadership
• Proficient in using AI tools to optimize workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in review generation, UGC, or online community management
• Experience running reviewer recognition, loyalty, or ambassador programs
• Familiarity with review platforms
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers/clients, including presenting to and meeting with stakeholders
• Experience in lead generation tactics (such as LinkedIn Ads, sponsorships, events)
• Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
