Kentro is hiring for a remote Project Unanet Accountant to support our Accounting and Finance Team. The Project Unanet Accountant ensures accurate, compliant, and timely financial and accounting transactions across project control, payroll, accounting, and Unanet. This role supports the integrity of company financials by executing core project accounting activities in alignment with company policies and government contracting requirements.
Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Compensation Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000–$105,000 annually and reflects Kentro’s good-faith expectations at the time of posting. Final compensation is determined based on the role’s requirements, relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, work location, applicable security clearance requirements, market conditions, internal equity, and contract requirements.

Accounting, Payroll, Project Control, Unanet Administration, and employees/managers across the organization.
Timely and accurate financial transactions; clean and fully reconciled payroll/Unanet data; well‑supported adjustments; and efficient, issue‑free payroll, billing, and accounting closes.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Government Contracting accounting or Finance.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Unanet accounting system, Microsoft Excel, and Word Document. Excellent attention to details, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Communication: Proactive and effective communicator with strong collaboration skills.
Experience providing cross-functional support across accounting, finance, and payroll.
US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card).
