We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Cyber Security Engineers with strong expertise in secure software development, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, security auditing, backend engineering, debugging, and performance optimisation to contribute to an advanced AI training and software-evaluation project. Selected professionals will analyse and improve complex codebases, identify and remediate software vulnerabilities, perform security assessments, and contribute technical insights supporting high-quality AI training data. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity & Vulnerability Assessment
  • Identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses across diverse software systems
  • Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security-focused code review
  • Evaluate application behaviour for exploitable or unsafe implementation patterns
  • Recommend practical remediation approaches for identified risks
  • Apply professional cybersecurity judgement across varied technical scenarios
• Software Debugging & Bug Resolution
  • Analyse and resolve complex software bugs and technical defects
  • Identify root causes across unfamiliar or evolving codebases
  • Fix issues while preserving expected system behaviour
  • Validate changes through appropriate testing and technical review
  • Document debugging approaches and technical findings clearly
• Backend Engineering & Feature Development
  • Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
  • Work across Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, TypeScript, or comparable languages

Ideal Profile

• Strong professional experience in cybersecurity, backend engineering, or secure software development
• Expertise in one or more of Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript
• Proven experience debugging and resolving complex software issues
• Strong background in penetration testing, security auditing, and vulnerability assessment
• Experience reviewing code for security weaknesses and implementation risks
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core computer-science concepts
• Experience refactoring mature or large-scale codebases
• Strong performance-optimisation and backend-development skills
• Familiarity with secure software-development lifecycles
• Good understanding of modern threat landscapes and common security risks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills
• Experience with AI-related or data-driven projects is advantageous but not required
• No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details
