Kled is building the largest opt-in human data network in the world. We are not a labeling firm. We are not a task marketplace. We are a consumer application where people upload their real photos, videos, and documents and get paid continuously. We then filter, standardize, and license that data to frontier AI labs and enterprises that need fresh, rights-aware training data.

This listing is for one paid task in the Kled app: "Record in a Noisy Place". There is no interview and no minimum hours: download the app, open the task, and you are paid per accepted submission.

What you will do

Record yourself talking somewhere noisy, a street, a cafe, a market.

Steps

• Go somewhere with real background noise: a cafe, street, station, busy kitchen
• Read the phrase on screen
• Record it there
• Say what the noise was and submit

What gets rejected

• Never add noise in editing afterwards
• Do not shout over the noise
• Do not record somewhere quiet and claim otherwise

Accepted: Real ambient noise present, your speech still intelligible.

Pay

$0.40 per accepted recording. At a typical pace of about 1 minute per recording, that is about $24 per hour. A 20-minute session of about 20 recordings pays about $8.00. Up to 10 recordings per session. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid. Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet).

Where and when

Open worldwide: the task runs in 100+ countries. Remote, on your own schedule. Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.

What you need

• An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now)
• 18 or older
• A quiet enough place to record (unless the task says otherwise)

How to start

Download Kled from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/kled/id6752585718 (also at kled.ai/app). Create your account and open Tasks. Search "Record in a Noisy Place", read the brief and follow the on-screen steps. Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
