Job Description:

The Case Files Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and submitting responses to document requests, in support of a government agency. Duties include:

  • Manage a shared inbox that receives requests for information. Log, track and assign requests to oneself and other team members as necessary.
  • Analyze requests to understand who the requestor is, what information is being sought and what information can be released based on requestor’s affiliation to the information and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as program and/or customer staff to compile the requested documents.
  • Review files and redact information as directed by SOPs. Analyzes complex or unique requests by reviewing previous scenarios and seeking guidance from the team/leadership.
  • Submit completed requests to the requestor based on urgent or standard timelines.
  • Manage, track and authorize child advocate appointments for program participants.
  • Participate in special projects as required such as fulfilling large document requests in response to litigation inquiries.
  • Assist the FOIA team with processing requests and other tasks as requested.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or relevant field preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related document or program analysis experience working at an agency that provides services for underserved/vulnerable populations.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working with sensitive documentation, an understanding of the proper handling of PII and experience following SOPs outlining the release of information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with underserved/vulnerable populations preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).

Salary Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.63 - $29.87. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
