Outside Sales Representative – FR & Safety Apparel

We’re seeking a highly driven Outside Sales Representative to aggressively grow our presence in the Midwest market. This is a true hunter role focused on identifying and winning new customers for flame-resistant (FR), arc-rated, high-visibility (Hi-Vis), PPE, safety apparel, and uniform programs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys prospecting, getting in front of customers, building relationships, and closing new business. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your own territory and establish relationships with utilities and other industrial organizations where safety and compliance are critical.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect aggressively and develop new business throughout the Midwest
• Target electric, gas, and water utilities as a primary market
• Develop relationships with Safety, Operations, Procurement, HR, and Field Service leaders
• Sell FR, arc-rated, Hi-Vis, PPE, safety apparel, and uniform programs
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions around safety, compliance, and workforce requirements
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities
• Develop new accounts while expanding relationships within existing customers
• Own the sales process from initial prospecting through close and account handoff
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline, and forecasting
• Travel throughout the Midwest as needed to develop the territory and meet customers

What We’re Looking For

• 3–10+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a strong track record of new business development
• Proven hunter mentality with success generating business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and field prospecting
• Experience selling PPE, FR/arc-rated apparel, safety products, uniforms, or related industrial products strongly preferred
• Experience selling into utilities or industrial customers is highly preferred
• Comfortable calling on Safety, Operations, Procurement, HR, and other decision-makers
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing a territory
• Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, FR, arc-rated, and safety/compliance requirements is a plus
