Make an Impact as a Medical Director, Medical Affairs at Worldwide

As a Medical Director, Medical Affairs, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of clinical research programs by providing medical oversight, scientific guidance, and clinical expertise across assigned studies.

Your work will help ensure participant safety, support high-quality clinical development, and contribute to meaningful advances in healthcare.

In this role, you will serve as a Medical Monitor for clinical trials, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to provide medical leadership throughout the study lifecycle. You will also contribute to protocol development, medical training, safety review activities, and strategic client interactions.

Where You'll Work

This is a REMOTE role open to candidates based in Remote US. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Provide medical oversight and serve as the assigned Medical Monitor for clinical research studies.
  • Lead global and pan-regional trials as a Global Lead Medical Monitor, ensuring consistent medical guidance across study teams.
  • Review and support the medical management of serious adverse events in collaboration with Medical & Safety teams.
  • Deliver protocol-specific and therapeutic area training to project teams to support high-quality study execution.
  • Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to study protocols, clinical development programs, research publications, and other medical deliverables.
  • Support sponsor engagement and business development activities, including feasibility assessments, proposal development, and client meetings.
  • Review and contribute to clinical study reports and other key study documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, regulatory compliance, and a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and support the development of medical colleagues while maintaining expertise in therapeutic areas and industry developments.

What You'll Bring

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution of medical education.
  • At least 2 years of medical monitoring experience within clinical research or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, clinical development, safety processes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience reviewing safety data and supporting serious adverse event assessment and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel as required.

The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):

United States of America - $134,500.00 - $267,500.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
