The Job

The Media Coordinator will support the account management team, executing the tactical elements and reporting on the outcomes of our clients' Paid Social Media campaigns. This role will focus on executing paid media through social platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat and other emerging social media platforms. You'll adeptly prioritize multiple tasks and clients daily to ensure seamless campaign execution, balancing creative thinking with data-driven analysis.

The Work

• Support Media Strategists during campaign strategy development and plan execution
• Build and assist in management of paid social media campaigns across multiple self-serve platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on client KPIs and analyze results
• Conduct research to inform and support media strategies and tactics
• Collaborate with Media Strategists to ensure all campaign details are addressed, including drafting insertion orders, confirming budgets, coordinating materials, and maintaining data accuracy in media plans
• Utilize trafficking and reporting tools to monitor delivery and results of digital campaigns (Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, AdSwerve, etc.)
• Coordinate with the Operations and Finance team to ensure timely billing
• Stay up to date on latest research and media trends

The Essentials

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 0-2 years professional experience

Your Capabilities

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with comfort managing budgets and the math behind them
• Ability to turn campaign data into clear, accurate weekly and monthly reports
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising principles, media concepts and terms, and creative and budget requirements
• Eagerness to learn self-serve ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit) and trafficking and reporting tools
• Research skills, plus curiosity about media trends and emerging platforms
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, keeping media plans, insertion orders and materials accurate and on track
• Able to prioritize, multitask and manage time under pressure
• Collaborative team player who also works confidently on their own and uses the resources at hand
• Clear communicator who builds effective relationships across departments, including Operations and Finance
• Balances creative thinking with data-driven analysis
• Competent in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing to learn new things and challenge the norm

The Extra Mile

• Knowledgeable on aspects of digital and traditional media such as Paid Social Media, Search Engine Management, Search Engine Optimization, Digital Display, Mobile, Out-of-home, TV, Print, etc.
• Experience in META Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, Pinterest Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Looker Studio and/or Google Campaign Manager
• Excel master
• Understanding of Backbone’s core values

$50,000 - $55,000 annually
