The Logistics Manager is a key leadership role in the Electrify America’s Supply Chain Department. The individual has overall responsibility for optimizing transportation & warehousing for all capital equipment (chargers, power cabinets, switchboards, switch gear, construction materials) and DCFC network service parts. Leads team in achieving efficient logistics operations of the national DC fast charging network as well as direct to consumer Electrify Home chargers including fulfillment & reverse logistics (warranty returns & service). The Logistics Manager develops annual operating budgets and establishes strategic objectives and goals for the logistics department objectives.
Logistics activities also include management of three large scale 3rd party Logistics Providers (3Pls) including shipment planning, execution, and warehousing activities. Essentially, the Logistics Manager’s role to assure that the right equipment & parts and arrive at the right time and place at the best cost to assure the success of Electrify America’s business objectives, for both system expansion as well as system operations and maintenance. Overall execution of responsibilities of the team including personnel goal setting and individual development plans. The position reports to the Sr Manager of Supply Chain within the overall Operations organization.
The logistics manager leads in the selection, implementation, operation and maintenance of a warehousing strategy in both the United States and Canada to support service parts and equipment distribution to the field. All shipping and service SLAs are to be met with 95% or greater compliance and a corrective action program is to be implemented as required to address shortfalls. Candidate will work closely with other internal personnel including the Field Services Manager and the Network Operation Center (NOC) to ensure the service parts program is optimized to support the needs of the field service operations to achieve optimized equipment uptimes and customer satisfaction.
The Logistics Manager is accountable for all company-wide Logistics contracts and supplier performance through amendments, business reviews, supplier site assessments, and supplier performance management best practices in Logistics services.
Years of Relevant Experience: 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related area
Education - Required Bachelors Degree
Education - Desired MBA
Occasional business travel (1 to 2 x /month) to warehouses, suppliers, and corporate office.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is established within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this position will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. The national pay range for this position in most locations is $92,500 - $166,500. There are some locations with a higher range, including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City, where the range is $132,400 - $238,200. (Note: Full Range)
