Pay is depending on experience and qualifications. Minimum is $22.95/hour.

📣 WE’RE HIRING: LOAN ORIGINATOR ASSISTANT

As a Loan Originator Assistant, you’ll be a key player in the mortgage process—supporting Loan Originators, keeping loan files on track, and making sure our customers feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

🏡 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Be the right-hand support for Mortgage Loan Originators—handling calls, calendars, files, documents, and daily office operations
  • Set up mortgage application files and help gather & verify required information (employers, banks, creditors—you name it!)
  • Order credit reports, appraisals, prelims, and follow up to keep things moving
  • Input loan applications and prepare origination documents and disclosures
  • Review documents with a sharp eye for accuracy and completeness
  • Deliver proactive, friendly customer service and help resolve questions or issues
  • Partner closely with Loan Processors to ensure a smooth handoff
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery of loan packages and materials
  • Assist with internal and external audits and documentation requests
  • Stay compliant with state & federal regulations and industry guidelines
  • Jump in on other duties as needed—we’re a team!

🎓 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of general administrative experience
  • Mortgage, consumer lending, or related experience is a plus
  • Military education or experience may substitute for education or work experience

SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU SHINE

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for proofreading and accuracy
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

TECH KNOW-HOW

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable learning new software and system upgrades
  • Able to operate standard office equipment (computer, copier, phone, etc.)

📝 LICENSES & COMPLIANCE

  • May require active registration with the National Mortgage Loan Licensing Registry
  • Annual renewals, fingerprinting every three years, and a criminal background check required

💼 WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Professional office setting with a moderate noise level
  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)
  • Computer-based work for much of the day
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
  • Reliable, timely attendance is essential
