Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Lead Institutional Services Automation Quality Control Analyst opening for our client.

Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
  • Define and implement test automation strategy, tools, frameworks, and architecture.
  • Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into comprehensive automated test coverage.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product Owner, and Engineering teams throughout Agile sprints.
  • Review automation code and test scripts for quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Support test data, environment, performance, security, and load testing strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging testing technologies, including AI-assisted testing, to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Monitor automation metrics, KPIs, test coverage, and execution results; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Adhere to risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation quality assurance initiatives supporting Institutional Services software products.
  • Develop and execute automated testing strategies across functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify defects, risks, and quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Promote continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality metrics.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or quality engineering.
  • Experience with UI, API, and integration test automation and automation framework development.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and automated testing tools.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into test strategies and automated test cases.
  • Experience with Appian and business process validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
  • Experience implementing AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
  • Experience with financial services, banking, or Institutional Services applications.
  • Experience mentoring or serving as a technical resource for QA team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $47.36 - $78.94/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
