Junior AI Engineer

This resource will support a growing AI application environment where business users are developing web applications and AI agents. The primary focus will be helping review, test, and process an existing backlog of approximately 40 applications and 100 AI agents through the team's application and AI governance process. They will partner with developers and business users to understand how applications and agents were built and intended to be used, assist with testing, validation, documentation, and issue identification, and review basic application functionality and code for potential technical or integration concerns. The resource may also make minor coding or technical updates, help with application registration and tracking, and escalate more complex development or security issues to senior team members. Ultimately, this role will help take repeatable application review work off senior developers so they can focus on larger, more complex initiatives.

Must-Haves

• Technical degree/background in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Coding/programming experience through school, internships, personal projects, or work
• Experience creating or contributing to web applications
• Exposure to AI agents, agentic AI, or AI-enabled application development
• Basic understanding of software/application development
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• U.S.-based and comfortable working fully remote

Pluses

• Experience building a project or application using an LLM or AI agent
• Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar technologies
• Exposure to APIs and application integrations
• Cloud application development experience
• Cybersecurity, application security, or AI governance exposure
• Experience with AI application testing or validation
