Salary: ₹30,000/month (depends on experience and portfolio strength)

Salary Credit: 7th of every month

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics with a strong understanding of social media trends and visual storytelling.
• Bonus if you have worked with Youtubers/Content Creators/Filmmakers before.

Job Description:

As a Video Editor at Wah!Bharat, you’ll transform raw footage into compelling visual stories that resonate with millions. You’ll combine rhythm, pacing, and emotion with motion graphics and current digital trends to create impactful content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with brand tone.
• Design and integrate motion graphics and VFX to elevate storytelling.
• Edit 18-20 shorts and 2/3 long form in a month.
• Content buckets: On-Ground reports, Visual storytelling, Explainer videos, Travelling, Event/Collab.
• Stay ahead of digital and cultural trends to craft fresh, viral content.
• Collaborate closely with the creative, editorial, and field production teams.
• Manage multiple timelines, versions, and deliverables across platforms.
• Optimize videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media formats.
• Maintain a strong storytelling arc and emotional coherence in every cut.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects/Blender or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong grasp of motion graphics, typography, and visual rhythm.
• Awareness of social media trends and editing aesthetics.
• Familiarity with sound design, color grading, and export workflows.

Soft Skills:

• Passionate about filmmaking, storytelling, Indian culture and socio-politics, and visual experimentation.
• Energetic and self-driven with a “let’s make it happen” mindset.
• Comfortable working beyond comfort zones and tight deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
