Head of paid media

We're looking for a Head of Paid Media with deep, hands-on Meta advertising experience and a proven track record of scaling significant ad spend for e-commerce brands or consumer apps.

You'll own paid media strategy across Trybe's brand partners, helping them turn creator content into profitable advertising campaigns at scale.

This is a senior, hands-on role, not an agency management position. You'll work directly in ad accounts, collaborate with our Brand Growth team, and advise brands on strategy, performance, and growth.

You'll work closely with Trybe's leadership team and play a key role in building and scaling our paid media function.

What You'll Do

• Audit and optimize Meta ad accounts, identifying opportunities to improve campaign structure, bidding, budgets, and performance.
• Develop and execute paid media strategies that help brands scale profitably while improving CAC and ROAS.
• Build and scale creative testing strategies using UGC and creator-generated content.
• Work directly with brand founders and marketing teams to advise on paid media strategy and performance.
• Lead educational sessions, webinars, and strategic discussions to help brands improve their advertising results.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve advertising tools, attribution, and analytics.
• Establish reporting processes, performance benchmarks, and best practices across paid media accounts.
• Help build and develop the paid media function as Trybe continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on paid media buying experience, with deep expertise in Meta Ads.
• Proven experience personally managing and scaling $1M+ in monthly Meta ad spend while achieving strong performance against CAC and ROAS targets.
• Strong background in e-commerce, DTC brands, or consumer apps.
• Agency or multi-brand experience, with direct responsibility for campaign strategy and execution.
• Advanced knowledge of Meta campaign structure, bidding strategies, creative testing, attribution, and performance optimization.
• Experience scaling UGC and creator content through paid advertising.
• Familiarity with Shopify and attribution platforms such as Northbeam or Triple Whale.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex performance insights clearly.
• Highly strategic but equally comfortable executing directly inside ad accounts.
• Experience with TikTok Ads, AppLovin, or leading media buying teams is a plus.

Location: New York City preferred; remote within the US considered.
