Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, you will serve as the primary visual storyteller for the Foundation, developing brand-aligned creative materials across both print and digital channels. You will partner across all departments to develop creative assets for fundraising campaigns, donor communications, signature events (like our head-shaving events!), partnerships, and digital marketing.
Working closely with our Sr. Social Media Specialist, you will also create platform-native graphics and short-form, social-first content using existing footage, photos, trending formats, and other creative assets.
Serve as the steward of the Foundation’s visual identity, developing creative direction and translating complex scientific, fundraising, and impact stories into clear, compelling visuals. Act as the lead designer across departments, managing and prioritizing multiple creative requests while providing guidance to internal stakeholders.
Design materials for major campaigns, head-shaving events, peer-to-peer fundraising programs, seasonal giving, donor communications, and advocacy initiatives. Create print and digital collateral including reports, brochures, signage, banners, merchandise, t-shirts, partnership materials, presentations, email, and digital advertising assets. Oversee print production, including preparing print-ready files and coordinating with external vendors. Create branded PowerPoint presentations and user-friendly Canva templates that enable staff to produce consistent, on-brand materials.
Design social graphics, infographics, motion assets, and quick-turn, short-form video content. Use existing footage, photography, text, audio, templates, and trending formats to create social-first content using tools like CapCut, Canva, and in-app editors. Stay current on social trends and identify relevant opportunities for the Foundation to participate and drive engagement.
Organize and maintain photography, video, design files, templates, and other digital assets. Manage and update shared creative resources used by staff and volunteers.
