About the Opportunity

SuperbTech is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our client’s newly established joint venture finance team. This position provides hands-on accounting and finance support, including financial-model updates, journal entries, reconciliations, cash reporting, and accurate transaction processing. Initial responsibilities will focus on core accounting functions, with opportunities to expand into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) as the team develops. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career professional with strong accounting fundamentals, analytical skills, and an interest in growing into a broader finance role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update financial models, assumption schedules, source data, and supporting calculations under management direction.
  • Prepare routine journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, ensuring complete supporting documentation and appropriate approval routing.
  • Support monthly close, opening-balance activities, account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general-ledger maintenance.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, cash-position reporting, transaction research, and preparation of authorized cash-management and bank-transfer documentation.
  • Enter and maintain vendor, invoice, account, cost-center, fixed-asset, and reporting data.
  • Support accounts payable, fixed assets, treasury, and other transaction-processing activities while following established authorization and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare recurring budget-to-actual, forecast, cash-flow, and variance reports using Excel and source-system data.
  • Track outstanding financial-model assumptions and data requests, follow up with designated owners, and maintain organized status logs.
  • Maintain audit-ready reconciliations, schedules, control evidence, and electronic files with clear naming and version control.
  • Document repeatable procedures and recommend practical process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • One to three years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, treasury, audit, or financial analysis.
  • Relevant internship experience will be considered for recent graduates who can clearly explain their contributions and accomplishments.
  • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, debits and credits, account reconciliations, accruals, and basic financial statements.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data organization, and financial-model updates.
  • Experience using an ERP or general-ledger system.
  • Strong accuracy, organization, analytical ability, confidentiality, and follow-through.
  • Ability to follow established approval processes and financial controls.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a developing finance environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. Relevant internships considered.
  • Knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and basic financial statements.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and model updates.
  • Experience using an ERP or general-ledger system.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and ability to follow financial controls.
  • Open to relocation if full-time conversion occurs, with relocation assistance available if required.

Ideal Candidate

A detail-oriented, proactive accounting or finance professional eager to grow into FP&A. Ideally brings experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, monthly close, cash reporting, and financial modeling. Familiarity with Power Query, Power BI, automation, or responsible use of AI tools is a plus.
