About the Role

Cogent is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across large enterprise accounts in the Mid Atlantic. You will build the territory, win new logos, expand customers, and establish Cogent as a strategic AI and cybersecurity partner.

This role is for a cybersecurity hunter with strong local market knowledge, established CISO relationships, and the range to lead both technical evaluations and executive business conversations. This is a remote role based within the Mid Atlantic territory.

What You’ll Do

• Own the territory and exceed new ARR and expansion targets across large enterprise accounts.
• Build pipeline through direct outbound, executive relationships, channel partners, marketing, and referrals.
• Create account plans and multithread across CISOs, security and IT teams, procurement, and executive sponsors.
• Lead technical evaluations, develop quantified business cases, negotiate, and close complex multi year agreements.
• Work across Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and partners while maintaining accurate forecasts and CRM data.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years in B2B quota carrying sales, including 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years selling directly to large enterprises.
• A consistent record of exceeding quota and winning complex deals worth six figures or spanning multiple years against established competitors.
• Existing relationships with CISOs and security buyers in the Mid Atlantic, plus the ability to self source pipeline.
• Technical credibility across security, cloud, and AI, with the ability to translate product value into executive level ROI.
• High growth or challenger company experience, strong ownership, and willingness to travel.
